American Dynamics Flight Systems specializes in the design and engineering of aircraft and associated systems. The AD-150 UAS and HTAL technology are both testaments to the company's focus on innovation. American Dynamics Flight Systems has developed expertise in the areas of airframes, lift and propulsion systems, drive systems, avionics and control systems.
The company makes extensive use of modern engineering tools, such as solid modeling systems, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) systems and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) systems for comprehensive component and system design, analysis, validation and optimization.
American Dynamics Flight Systems' CFD tool suite allows the company's engineers to model and simulate virtually any type of aerodynamic and thermodynamic physical operating condition that the AD-150 aircraft may encounter. This capability not only allows the company to internally validate designs, but also to accurately predict aircraft and system performance in different operating environments. |

Flight and laboratory test operations are vital to the success of all developmental aircraft programs. Data generated through comprehensive test operations allows American Dynamics Flight Systems engineers to physically validate designs and optimize system performance.
American Dynamics Flight Systems maintains dedicated bench test facilities for the validation and testing of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical components and assemblies.
American Dynamics Flight Systems has teamed with the University of Maryland and the Glenn L. Martin Wind Tunnel for wind tunnel testing of the AD-150 aircraft and related systems.
As part of an agreement with State of Maryland, American Dynamics Flight Systems has teamed with the United States Army's Aberdeen Proving Ground for ground and flight test operations.
